A recent survey indicated that nearly 60% of respondents reported orthopedic injuries related to protective lead, and many have altered their careers due to health concerns. The ALARA Coalition emphasizes the need for healthcare institutions, device manufacturers, and regulators to collaborate for enhanced radiation and occupational safety standards.
